Magnus Lindholm

President, Europe, Middle East and Africa Region

Magnus Lindholm is president of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. As such, he is responsible for leading a cross-functional team that works to support access to kidney and vital organ support care across the region.

Previously, Lindholm held several key leadership positions with Baxter International, including general manager of the Nordics, while also leading the acute business strategy for western Europe. He also served as the general manager in DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and in Greece. 

Lindholm began his career in the pharmaceutical sector, carrying out various European commercial and marketing roles at Novartis, Santen, Leiras and Kabi. He has also performed honorary roles during his career, including as Chairman of Swedish MedTech – the Association for Medical Technology in Sweden. 

Lindholm earned a bachelor’s degree from Foothill College, in San Francisco, California, and a master’s degree in business administration from IHM Business School. He also completed a Top Talent Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
