eCommerce Collaborations

Driving efficiencies in the healthcare supply chain

We view e-commerce as a key enabler for driving cost savings and efficiencies in the healthcare supply chain. The two most common forms of e-commerce are electronic data interchange (EDI), which provides a direct connection between provider and supplier computer systems, and Internet-commerce, which connects many buyers and sellers via a common technology platform. We support both of these e-commerce solutions based on individual customer needs.

While electronic data interchange (EDI) remains integral to our strategy, it's important to note that we collaborate with a diverse range of EDI service providers, ensuring comprehensive coverage across various regions.

  • In the EMEA region, our primary B2B partners for EDI services include GHX, catering to the UK and Germany, alongside EDICOM, InExchange, Cegedim, Pagero HBS, and Sovos in other territories.
  • In UCAN, we have a strong partnership with GHX, as well as with Opentext.
  • In ANZ we partner with Pacific Commerce for EDI ordering capabilities.

Globally, we offer seamless document-to-EDI conversion services utilizing Gfax and Conexiom. Our e-commerce solutions are operational in key regions such as EMEA, UCAN, and LATAM, with streamlined setup procedures. Moreover, our self-service ordering platforms empower customers with efficient procurement processes.

Compliance with electronic invoicing regulations is paramount in the healthcare industry. Therefore, we have established a partnership with EDICOM to ensure adherence to government mandates, facilitating compliant invoice transmission. Furthermore, we provide robust support for electronic order acknowledgements and automated shipnotes, offering a comprehensive suite of electronic document solutions tailored to the healthcare industry.

At Vantive, our commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive efficiency and enhance patient care remains at the forefront.
